The Technowiz Club, of the Faculty of Technology organised a beach clean-up event along the stunning coastal beach of Mount Lavinia. Technowiz Club is the largest student club of the Faculty of Technology, comprising students from all its degree programmes.
Driven by their commitment to combat pollution, students worked tirelessly to remove the harmful debris that poses a threat to the health of both humans and marine life. Their effort resulted in the collection of hundreds of pounds of discarded garbage. This commendable endeavour reflected their unwavering devotion to the preservation of our precious planet. The club plans to conduct these clean-up drives regularly, inspiring others.
