The Faculty of Technology was invited to an event organised by the Methodist College Colombo on June 14, 2023, to educate students about the higher education opportunities available to them after A/L. The academic staff of the faculty gave a presentation about the higher education opportunities available at KDU. Students, teachers, and parents were given an overview of the faculties and degree programs KDU offers, the teaching and learning resources available, and student life.
The dean of the faculty, academic staff, and undergraduate students of the faculty participated in the event. Following the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to engage in a question-and-answer session with the representative faculty members, allowing them to resolve any queries and clarify specific details about the courses and university life at KDU. This interactive segment of the event fostered an open dialogue and deepened the understanding of the higher education opportunities offered by General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University.
